Dey 9 epic, a product of Leader’s insight and enlightenment: chief custodian

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, managed to quell the widespread sedition on Dey 9, (December 30, 2009) with his statements, warnings, vigilance, insight, reflection and tolerance.

Hawzah News Agency - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, managed to quell the widespread sedition on Dey 9, (December 30, 2009) with his statements, warnings, vigilance, insight, reflection and tolerance.

Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said the above in a pre-planning meeting to commemorate the anniversary of Dey 9 epic, martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA), the Ten-Day Insight initiative and the martyrdom anniversary of Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Referring to the tragic events after the death of the Prophet (pbuh) of Islam which led to the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA), he underscored the need to explain and analyze her discourse after the death of the Prophet (pbuh).

He called for holding a glorious mourning ceremony for these days while fully observing health protocols because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Pointing to December 30 epic rallies, he called it “one of the days of God” and a national and historical one which should not be forgotten and a lesson that needs to be analyzed and readdressed to shed light on the bitter events of that year.

“The 2009 sedition was extinguished with the irreplaceable presence of the people and the wise strategy of the Revolution’s Leader with the least damage. During 30 years after the Islamic Revolution, we had seen many events and challenges such as the Imposed War, terrorist groups, separatists, etc. but this kind of assault was unprecedented and it can be considered as one of the most complex conditions of the last three decades of the Islamic Revolution,” he noted.

He added: “Although the tail of this sedition was abroad in the hands of arrogant powers, inside the country, those who had a history in formation of this sedition also had a role in the formation of the revolution. These conditions made it difficult for some to recognize the situation, so it was very difficult to manage such a sedition at minimal cost.”

Elsewhere, Hoj. Marvi, pointed to different dimensions of the mostly unknown personality of Martyr Soleimani saying that all walks of life and even the dissidents were present in his funeral and that was a lot for someone with minimal media presence who succeeded to penetrate the hearts of the people.

He introduced the reason for Martyr Soleimani’s influence in the hearts of the people as his esoteric and spiritual personality and his “purity” and humbleness which made him a man of God.

“Martyr Soleimani destroyed the ISIS under the leadership of the Revolution’s leader. Global arrogance and reactionary powers in the region supported ISIS; yet he disclosed their plots, removed their evil hands from the Muslim community and defended the noble shrines of the Infallible Imams (AS) in Syria and Iraq. These were the great services of Martyr Soleimani to Islam, which should be expressed to the society, especially the young generation,” he said.

“The aspects of the personality and faith of Martyr Soleimani should be addressed and it should be stated what kind of mentality a manager in the Islamic Republic should have so that God may help him in his duty,” he remarked.

At the beginning of the meeting, a number of directors from different AQR departments reported on their programs to commemorate these important occasions.
